The youth ministry at Christ Church has been shaped by two passages in Scripture. 1 Thessalonians 2:7-8, “But we were gentle among you, like a nursing mother taking care of her own children. So, being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own selves, because you had become very dear to us.”, and 1 Corinthians 11:1,  “Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.”

The words of the Apostle Paul here are what we hope to do and display in our ministry with the youth of Christ Church. Our prayer is that the gospel of Jesus Christ would be central, as well as a commitment to share our lives with the youth. This includes spending time with the youth outside of church, and showing them the importance of gathering with the people of God for Sunday worship!

We will be attending Hume Lake again! It will be a high school/junior high camp which is perfect for our youth! Jonny Ardavanis who is the dean of campus life at Master's College and a fellow classmate of Pastor Beau and Travis at Master's Seminary will be preaching throughout the camp. You will not want to miss out! Use this link to sign up: SIGN UP FOR WINTER CAMP (The total cost for camp will be $259). If there is any financial assistance needed please let me know.

The theme of the camp will be "Recrafted", and the theme verse is 2 Corinthians 5:17-19, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation."
